These were some old videos of my children's karate class that I had forgotten about in a drawer. This video is the result of some catchy music and the ROXIO Creator PRO 2010

Don't know how many of you have taken advantage of Google's free Picasa software. Works great with the suite. I did this slide show, saved it as a movie and uploaded it--very simple--it also has some nice editing and add music features (you choose transitions, etc.)

Here's a great way to get those old photos dusted off, watch your family as they grow, and relive the fun of Halloweens past!

We bought a little unit from Amazon that makes it possible to digitize those old family movies! Our old camcorder used VHS-C tapes and we feared they were degrading so we wanted to save these family movies before it was too late.
What we got is called "EasyCap" and it did what it was supposed to do. We needed a male to male composite cable that was long enough to make the connection to our Toughbook.
In retrospect I wish we'd bought the similar product from Roxio because it probably would have made the process much easier.
The problems cropped up with the software but we got it to work and are happy with the results!
